Product Description
INDION 222 Na NS is a golden yellow to brown coloured high capacity strongly acidic cation exchanger in bead form. It is based on cross linked polystyrene and has a gel structure. The resin contains sulphonic acid functional groups. It is supplied moist in the sodium form produced by solvent free process.
Applications
INDION 222 Na NS is used most widely in sodium form for water softening application. It can be used also in two-stage de-ionising as the cation exchanger in the hydrogen cycle. For potable water application, it is recommended to rinse the resin with 20 BV of water preferably DI water before putting it into use.
INDION 222 is a strongly acidic cation exchange resin containing NaF sulphonic acid groups. It is specially designed for the treatment of food, beverages, domestic water and food processing water. Properties, U.S.A. Federal Regulations, Food and Drug Administration Code, Section 21, 173,25.
