Description

These air filters meet or exceed the requirements for the MERV 8 rating by capturing 75 to 80% of particles in the 3 to 10-micron range, such as dusting aids and cement dust, and 20 to 35% of particles in the 1 to 3-micron range, such as lead dust, humidifier dust, coal dust, and nebulizer droplets. They are commonly used as pre-filters for higher-rated filters or as the final filter in a low-dust environment.

  • General Use filters remove particulates such as dust and hair from the air to improve indoor air quality.
  • Standard Capacity filters have the standard filter media area and will remove particulates for an average length of time before becoming clogged or loaded.
